Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr first made her appearance in 1990, as singer-songwriter for the Celtic pop-rock and rock band The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and their three older siblings. Andrea Corr is an Irish artist, singer and actor from Ireland. She received her Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is most well-known for being an integral part of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of the Corrs, she also serves as the group's leader. Andrea started her career acting in 1991. Then she was an artist on stage and as a musician. She was the voice in The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film released in 1998. Andrea's work as an artist is multifaceted. She was also honoured by her charitable work. Andrea and her boyfriend, a stockbroker, have two kids. Andrea began her music lessons through learning how to play the Tin whistle. Andrea also learned to play piano, under the instruction of Gerry. Andrea can also play the Ukulele. In her teens, she spent time honing her skills. She started by singing alongside her family members, and then became the singer-in-chief of the band. Andrea studied at 'Dun Lughaidh Convent which is where she performed frequently in school performances.
